Art Around Saline

During the months of July and August, Two Twelve's featured Artists of the Month are our very own students! Stop by to see work from the 2014-2015 school year. A variety of mediums and subjects are included. Join us for the Artists' Reception on Friday, July 24, from 7-9pm.

Stop by Carrigan Café in Saline to see the Children's Show during July and August. Two Twelve Arts Center and Saline's Summerfest celebrate young, emerging, talented artists by featuring their work and spotlighting the artists during a presentation at Summerfest on August 8, at 2pm. Stop by the café to enjoy a cold drink and celebrate young artists.

Also featured at a local café in Saline, Brewed Awakenings, is Thomas Rosenbaum. This work represents an exploration into abstract designs using various collage materials.  In the spirit of the coffee shop, as a place to gather and enjoy a good brew, Tom has incorporated burlap coffee bean bag material into the design.
The Traffic Paintings are part of a series done as an entry to the Café Community Art Project sponsored by the Arts Alliance and Ann Arbor Art Center. They were selected for display on a switchbox at Main St. and Liberty in Downtown Ann Arbor.

Landscape Series

In the past few weeks, students have enjoyed a variety of Landscape Series Classes. Our Landscape Series features one class each week that focuses on a different style of landscape. Check out the great work created in Pastel Waterscape in the Style of Monet, Pastel Painting in the Style of Van Gogh, and Landscape Painting in the Style of Vitaly Mikarov.
